Compact controller with DALI 209 TW compatibility

The new PowerController V2 DALI 209 TW from LUMITRONIX® is equipped twice with the Device Type 8 and as a powerful control unit offers the possibility to integrate 2 Tunable White modules into a DALI 209 system with a minimum size of only 100 x 29 x 19 mm.

And this is how the installation works

Connection

Connect the two DALI inputs (DA2) on the PowerController to the DALI BUS cable. The 4 outputs (CH1-CH4) are each connected to the negative line of the respective modules. Connect the cold white connection of the first 209 device to CH1 and the warm white connection to CH2. Similarly, the second module is connected in the same way to CH3 and CH4. The positive leads are connected to OUT via terminals (part no. 33736 on www.lumitronix.com). The operating voltage is provided by GND and VCC. 

How it works

After all components have been properly wired, power can be applied to the PowerController V2 DALI 209 TWand an addressing can then be performed on the DALI BUS. Depending on the software used, new DALI devices will appear which can now be individualized.

Simple installation due to minimal size

The slim format allows easy installation in control cabinets, also due to the practical terminals. A total of up to 10 A can be switched via the outputs. The PowerController V2 DALI 209 TW allows the control of constant voltage LED modules.
